Jefferson County, CO : DUI suspect arrested after Jefferson County single-vehicle crash with 2-year-old in car on Monday, 30th July 2018

A 22-year-old driver was arrested Monday night in Jefferson County on suspicion of DUI after a single-car crash with a 2-year-old child in the car.

Julia Linenberger faces DUI and possible child abuse charges, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Linenberger was driving a 2016 Volkswagen sedan when she lost control and hit a guardrail, said Trooper Josh Lewis, a CSP spokesman.There were no injuries in the crash, which happened at about 7:25 p.m. on U.S. 285 just east of South Wadsworth Boulevard.

Linenberger was taken to the Jefferson County Jail. The toddler was released to family members.
