Greeley, CO: Car slams into building housing Colorado’s oldest commercial radio station on Sunday, July 26th 2015

A driver suffered life-threatening injuries after crashing his vehicle into a building that houses Colorado’s oldest commercial radio station late Sunday night, the Greeley Police Department said.Investigators said the driver of the Chevrolet Impala was speeding while traveling at a high rate of speed northbound on 11th Avenue when he lost control and crashed into the building that houses radio station KFKA 1310 AM about 11:20 p.m.The vehicle caught fire, but witnesses were able to pull the driver to safety until fire crews arrived. The driver was then taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
