Madison , WI : Two drivers injured after head on Crash caused by Drunken wrong-way driver on Friday ,May 8th 2015
A drunken motorist driving the wrong way on a divided highway in Madison caused a head-on crash Friday that injured him and another driver, according to the Madison Police Department.
The crash was reported shortly after 12:30 a.m. in the 300 block of John Nolen Drive, according to a police department incident report.
According to the report, the 32-year-old Watertown man was headed north in the outbound lanes when his car struck a car driven by a 30-year-old Madison man who was going south in the outbound lanes.
Both men were taken to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening. The Watertown man was cited for operating while intoxicated causing injury and driving the wrong way on divided highway, according to the release.
