A man is dead after a single-vehicle accident in Oconee County.
According to the Oconee County Coroner’s Office, 39-year-old Carl Cagney O’Kelley died Sunday afternoon from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle accident near Westminster.
The accident was reported around 4:35 p.m. on Sunday on Cleveland Pike Road in the Madison community.
O’Kelley ran off the road, struck a ditch and his SUV overturned, according to troopers. He was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
