Burlington, VT : Police identify victims of fatal Burlington crash on Saturday, 15th February, 2020

State police have identified the victim of a fatal crash in Burlington Saturday evening that left one person dead at the scene and five others wounded — two of whom were transported to Hartford Hospital by helicopter.
Denise Decker, 53, of Myrtle Beach, S.C. was pronounced dead at the scene, after the 2015 Infiniti Q50 she was riding in veered over the middle line into the westbound lane of Route 4, colliding head-on with a 2018 Honda HR-V.
The accident occurred around 6:43 p.m., state police said near the Mountain Spring Road intersection.
The force of the crash caused both vehicles to come to rest in the opposite shoulder from the direction they had been heading.
