ORLAND, CA : 2 injured in Glenn County crash in the area of Interstate 5 and Highway 32 on Thursday, 26th December, 2019

A Redding man suffered major injuries Thursday morning as a result of a car crash in the area of Interstate 5 and Highway 32.

David Stevens, 29, of Redding was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer southbound on Interstate 5 just south of Highway 32, said a press release issued Thursday by the California Highway Patrol Willows office.

Stephens’ SUV drifted into the oleanders that divided the lanes causing the vehicle to flip over onto the northbound lanes.

At that point, the release said, Eduardo Carrillo, 29, of Orland was driving a 2005 Ford Escape northbound on Interstate 5. Carrillo’s SUV collided with Stephens’ overturned SUV.
