Muncie, IN : Man injured in I-69 crash early Thursday, May 5, 2016
A Muncie man was injured early Thursday in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 69.
According to Indiana State Police, a 2009 Honda Civic driven by Craig Schroeder, 62, was in the southbound lane about 12:45 a.m. when it went off the left side of the interstate, striking cable barriers before coming to a stop.
When troopers arrived, Schroeder's car was in the median, "facing sideways," according to a release.
Schroeder suffered non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said, and was taken by ambulance to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
The Delaware County Sheriff's Department, Harrison Township firefighters and Delaware County EMS also responded to the scene, near the Ind. 332 interchange at Exit 245.
