FARR WEST CITY, UT : West Jordan man identified as fatality in vehicle collision on Saturday, 17th September 2016

Authorities in Weber County say a man was killed and two people, including a toddler, were hurt in a collision.

Webber County Sheriff’s deputies say a traffic accident with serious injuries was reported around 4:20 p.m. Saturday in Farr West City.

According to investigators, a vehicle made a left turn in front of a truck pulling a trailer.

The truck struck the driver’s side door of the vehicle.

Deputies say 33-year-old Roberto Jimenez, of West Jordan, suffered fatal injuries.

Two passengers, a 27-year-old woman and a young boy, were hospitalized with serious injuries.

The woman has since been released.

The child remained hospitalized Sunday and his condition was not immediately available.

Deputies say the truck’s driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
