Maplewood, OH : A two-vehicle crash on Meranda Road in Jackson Township on Wednesday, 3rd October 2018

A Quincy woman was transported to Wilson Health after a two-vehicle crash on Meranda Road in Jackson Township Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 3.

Dorothy L. Clayton, 80, 4398 County Road 34N, Quincy, was cited with failure to yield at stop or yield after a 2:53 p.m. crash on Wednesday.

According to a report from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, Clayton was traveling westbound on Meranda Road at state Route 65 when she pulled from a stop sign and drove in front of the southbound vehicle on state Route 65 at Meranda Road that was driven by Andrew T. Cotterman, 24, 404 N. Main St., Jackson Center. Cotterman’s vehicle struck the passenger’s side of Clayton’s vehicle head-on.
