FLORENCE, AL : Two injured in a Thursday night wreck on Thursday, 15th September 2016

Two people were injured in a Thursday night wreck in Florence, officials said.

Police said Jesse Payne, 25, Florence, and Alisha Abernathy, 28, Tuscumbia, were injured in the two-car wreck that happened on Cloverdale Road.

Officials said the two people were taken to Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, where they were treated and later released.

Reports indicate the wreck happened at 8:30 p.m. in front of Jack’s Restaurant.

The wreck remains under investigation by the Florence Police Department.
