Columbus, OH : A 21-year-old woman died on May, Friday, 19th 2017

A 21-year-old woman died Friday, police said, after a fight in Walnut Hills a day earlier.

Officers were called the 2600 block of Stanton Avenue just before 8:30 p.m. Thursday for a report of a fight with injuries, according to a statement from the Cincinnati Police Department.

Police said no victims were located at the scene, but a short time later, Shawnice Johnson arrived at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Officials reported Johnson succumbed to her injuries at the hospital Friday.

The Cincinnati police homicide unit is investigating the incident. Officials have not released any information about potential suspects.
