Colbert Heights ,AL : Man flown to Huntsville Hospital after Friday night bicycle crash on Friday night ,July 10th 2015

A man was injured Friday night in a bicycle accident on Blue Road in Colbert Heights, according to AL.com news partner WHNT 19.

The man, whose name has not been released, was traveling at a high speed down a hill in the area of Old Highway 43, WHNT reported. The Littleville Volunteer Fire Department chief said he was transported to Huntsville Hospital.

Alabama State Troopers assisted rescue crews at the scene.
