Bradenton ,FL : Man tried to flee after crashing into patrol car on Saturday night ,June 6th 2015

Tampa Bay area deputies say a man tried to flee the scene after crashing into a patrol car while they were investigating another crash.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office reports that two detectives were gathering information about a crash that involved three people Sunday night. Their emergency lights were activated when they say a white pickup truck came straight toward their patrol car and hit it. The Bradenton Herald (http://goo.gl/8YTWXT ) reports that this started a chain-reaction crash into two other vehicles involved in the earlier crash.

Authorities say the pickup's driver tried to restart his truck after the crash and flee, but the detectives stopped him.

No injuries were reported in either crash.
