McAlester, OK : Three injured in motor vehicle accident north of McAlester on Thursday, March 9, 2017
Three individuals were injured in a motor vehicle accident Thursday after a vehicle ran off the right side of U.S. Highway 69 five miles north of McAlester, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
A 2005 Ford driven by Christiane Slay, 41, of Fort Hood, Texas, was traveling northbound on the highway at 11:42 p.m. when, for an unknown reason, the vehicle ran off the road and struck an unoccupied, parked 2002 Chevrolet.
Slay was transported to McAlester Regional Health Center and is listed in stable condition with head injuries.
Two passengers, both juveniles, were treated and released. One passenger is a 17-year-old teen and the second is 11 months old.
