Columbus,OH : Boy hurt in car crash dies, man in critical condition after shooting on September, Sunday 10th 2017

A 10-year boy critically injured in a car crash in July died Sunday, the Hamilton County Coroner's office said.

And authorities are looking for his father, according to court records.

Ariyonte Grace Holloway was a passenger in a car driven by the boy's father AdrielHolloway, 27, when the car slammed into a tree at 1201 Lincoln Ave. on July 31. The elder Holloway tried to run from the crash before passersby stopped him and held him for police.

The elder Holloway, who was also hurt in the crash, was cited for possession of marijuana after the crash. Court records indicate he did not show up for any court hearings on that case.

In a related case, Holloway was charged late last month with harassing his mother over the phone after she asked him why he had not been to see Ariyonte who remained hospitalized at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
nearly a month after the accident. He told her, according to her affidavit, that he feared he would go to jail if showed up at the hospital.

It was not immediately clear if the elder Holloway will face additional charges related to his son's death. There are two warrants out for his arrest related to the earlier charges.
