CINCINNATI, OH : 18-year-old driver arrested after passenger killed in West Price Hill crash on Sunday, 29th September 2024

An 18-year-old man is under arrest in a fatal crash that killed his passenger last week in West Price Hill, court records show.

On Monday, a Hamilton County judge set a $100,000 bond for Abelardo Mendez.

Court documents show that Mendez is facing charges of aggravated vehicular homicide in connection with the crash that happened on Wednesday.

According to an affidavit, Mendez is accused of driving a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox at a very high rate of speed on West 8th Street and hitting a parked dump truck.
