Garden City,AL : Decatur man dies in wreck just south of Garden City on September, Saturday 2nd 2017

Alabama State Troopers said a Decatur man died Saturday night after his vehicle ran off the road and struck a tree just south of Garden City.

The victim was identified as Kenneth Adam Owens, 38. Troopers said he was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The single-vehicle crash happened at 10:45 p.m. on U.S. 31, four miles south of Garden City.

No other details are being released as the wreck remains under investigation.
