A 10-year-old Delaware girl has been killed in a Sussex County crash after her older brother lost control of the car they were in, and it slammed into a cluster of pine trees. Police say 20-year-old Alexander Jackson Jr. was driving in a car with his three siblings at a high rate of speed Wednesday afternoon in Ellendale when he lost control, causing the car to enter opposite lanes of traffic. When Jackson swerved to avoid an oncoming car, he hit a ditch and the car went airborne. It then landed and flipped violently into pine trees. Ten-year-old Christina Stevens, who was wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene. Jackson and his 14-year-old brother are in stable condition, while their 6-year-old sister had minor injuries.
