Jefferson County, AL : Motorcycle driver taken to hospital with serious injuries after Sunday crash on June 29th 2014.

A motorcycle driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a colliding head-on with a car on Clay-Palmerdale Road.
The crash happened Sunday afternoon near Brookwood Road.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, the 21 year old female driver crossed the center line in a curve and collided with a car.
Palmerdale Paramedics took her to UAB Hospital with serious injuries.
A spokesperson for UAB says Brandi West remains in the hospital in critical condition.
The car's driver was not hurt.
