WORCESTER, MA : 18-year-old injured in motorcycle crash on Webster Street in Worcester on Monday, 3rd September 2018

A man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on Webster Street on Sunday night, police said in a news release Monday.

Police said the 18-year-old on a Kawasaki EX 300 motorcycle crashed into a light pole on the sidewalk near 76 Webster St. at about 9:50 p.m. A state trooper provided emergency medical care initially, and a Worcester EMS ambulance crew and firefighters took over. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was in serious condition in intensive care Monday, police said.
