THP blames alcohol for deadly motorcycle crash

The Tennessee Highway Patrol tells 6 News a man had been drinking when he crashed into a semi Sunday afternoon.The accident killed 55-year-old Donald Huennekens, of Knoxville.Troopers say he was driving his motorcycle on Highway 116 near Lovely Lane in Campbell County. He crossed into the opposite lane of traffic and hit the back of a semi, sliding under it.The driver of the semi was not injured. No charges have been filed.
