Fort Wayne,IN : 1 critically hurt in moped crash on May, Tuesday 1st 2018

An adult man was critically injured this afternoon in a moped crash on Rudisill Boulevard east of Gaywood Drive, Fort Wayne police said tonight.

Police said they were called about 4:20 p.m. to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a moped. Upon arrival they found an unresponsive man with a head injury down in the eastbound lane of Rudisill Boulevard. He was taken to a local hospital.

There were no witnesses, police said. Rudisill was shut down between Smith Street and Gaywood Drive during the investigation, reopening about 5:30 p.m.

The crash remains under investigation by city police and the Allen County prosecutor's office.
