Monroe City,MO : Quincy motorist suffers minor injuries in 2-vehicle Missouri crash on December, Thursday 14th 2017

One person suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Marion County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2017 Ford Explorer driven by Lori A. Ensley, 47, of Quincy, Ill., was heading east on U.S. 36 about 6.5 miles east of Monroe City when the driver slowed for another vehicle. The Explorer was then struck in the rear by an eastbound 2014 Ford Escape driven by Rebecca L. Lafata, 64, of Four Seasons. The crash occurred at 2:55 p.m.

The patrol said Ensley suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment at the scene.
