Bethlehem, NY : Motorcyclist in serious condition after Delmar crash on Wednesday, July 27, 2016

A motorcycle driver who was injured when his bike hit a guard rail on Old Delaware Avenue Wednesday remained in serious condition Thursday, Bethlehem police said.

Wayne Cady, 58, of Delmar, was traveling west toward Delaware Avenue on the curved road when he hit the rail, police said at the scene. He was found on the road near the motorcycle and he was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital where he remained a day later.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, Bethlehem police said in a statement. Police said authorities are continuing to investigate the crash.
