ANDERSON COUNTY, SC : Coroner identifies bicyclist hit and killed in Anderson County on Thursday, 28th December 2023

South Carolina Carolina Highway Patrol announced that troopers are investigating after a bicyclist was hit and killed in Anderson County Thursday night.

Troopers said the crash happened at around 5:50 p.m. along Bethany Church Road.

According to troopers, the bicyclist was traveling along Bethany Church Road when they were hit from behind by and SUV. They added that the bicyclist passed away at the scene. The Anderson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 66-year-old Bobby Holdbrooks from Belton.
