BIRMINGHAM, AL : Charter bus carrying 40 people crashes on I-59 NB, 3 taken to hospital on Thursday, 2nd May 2024

A charter bus with 40 people on board was involved in a vehicle crash on I-59 NB Thursday afternoon, according to Birmingham Fire and Rescue Services.

The bus was taking a group from The Salvation Army and was on I-59 NB near the 4th Avenue exit headed toward Georgia.

BFRS says three people were taken to local hospitals.
