Paso Robles man on motorcycle crashes into car in Santa Maria
A 59-year-old Paso Robles man received major injuries Wednesday when he crashed his 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle into a car in Santa Maria.The accident took place at 11:09 a.m. when the unnamed Paso Robles man was exiting a gas station and trying to make left turn onto Betteravia Road.
According to a California Highway Patrol news release, the motorcycle he was driving struck the passenger side of a 1997 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that was traveling east on Betteravia Road.The driver of the car, a 23-year-old Santa Maria woman, unsuccessfully tried to avoid the motorcycle.
The driver and her two passengers, a 45-year-old Santa Maria woman and a 21-year-old Santa Maria man, were uninjured in the accident.
