Lower Saucon Township, PA : One killed in Lower Saucon Township crash on Friday, 5th February 2021

One person was killed in a Friday night multi-vehicle crash that shut down Route 33 at Interstate 78 in Lower Saucon Township, state police said.

The 7:55 p.m. crash occurred on Route 33 South, just before I-78, said Trooper Nathan Branosky, state police spokesperson.

Multiple ambulances took the injured for emergency care, Northampton County emergency dispatchers said. Part of I-78 at Route 33 was reopened by 11 p.m.

Police are investigating and had no further details immediately available.
