Laurens, SC : Fountain Inn woman killed and two others injured in wreck in Laurens County on Thursday, February 19, 2015

Highway Patrol troopers said one woman was killed and two others were sent to the hospital following a wreck in Laurens County on Thursday.

The crash was reported on Fairview Church Road at West Nelson Road around 3:45 p.m.

Troopers said the driver was headed west, when he ran off the left side of the road and hit a tree.

The driver and a young boy, who was in a car seat, were transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital, according to Highway Patrol.

A 40-year-old woman, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead on the scene.
