Moscow, ID : Driver injured, car catches fire after vehicle-versus-moose collision on Tuesday, 21st January, 2020

A 36-year-old woman was taken to Gritman Medical Center in Moscow after she struck a moose with her vehicle and the car caught fire at milepost 8 on State Highway 9 northwest of Deary, according to the Latah County Sheriff’s Office.

The woman sustained minor injuries and the moose died and was harvested.
