PUTNAM COUNTY, FL : Putnam County bicyclist dies in crash on Thursday, 4th January 2024

A 47-year-old Satsuma woman is dead after being hit by a car while she was riding her bike on U.S. Highway 17, north of Shady Oak Drive on Thursday night.

The Florida Highway Patrol report says she was not wearing a helmet when the 63-year-old driver of a Nissan Xterra crashed into her around 5:54 p.m.
