Shreveport, LA : Man dies in 18-wheeler wreck on I-20 in Webster Parish on Friday afternoon, May 20, 2016

Louisiana State Police have released the name of a Shreveport man who was killed in a crash on Interstate 20 Friday afternoon in Webster Parish.

It happened near mile post 40 just east of Goodwill Rd. just before 2 p.m.

According to LSP, the preliminary investigation revealed that the mobile oil well workover rig drive by 36-year-old Christopher Henderson was traveling east on I-20 when a tire failed. The rig left the road and went into the media, where it overturned and crushed the cab of the vehicle.

Henderson was pronounced dead at the scene by the Webster Parish Coroner.

Impairment is not suspected, according to state police, but a toxicology sample was obtained and will be submitted for analysis.

The crash remains under investigation.
