Leesburg, VA : Maryland man charged with felony hit and run, DUI following Route 7 accident on Tuesday, 6th September 2016
A 64-year-old Waldorf, Md., man was arrested and charged with two counts of felony hit and run, drunken driving and possession of an open container following a Tuesday afternoon incident in Sterling.
According to Loudoun County Sheriff's Office reports, deputies responded to the intersection of Route 7 and Cascades Parkway around 3:15 p.m. after reports of a property damage accident. The driver, later identified as Kermit K. Warner, 64, fled the scene prior to the sheriff's office's arrival, but he then “stuck a second vehicle a short distance from the initiation scene.”
Warner is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
