Man dead following suspected DUI crash in Fresno County

The California Highway Patrol say a man in his sixties was driving north on Madsen Avenue near Herndon around 8 p.m. Tuesday evening when he drifted westbound. The man crashed through a residential fence before hitting multiple trees.

The car landed on its driver's side in the resident's front yard. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities believe the man was under the influence at the time of the crash.

No one else was hurt in the incident.
