Portland, OR : Two people injured after car slammed through a storefront in SE Portland Wednesday afternoon, May 6, 2015

A man is recovering in the hospital after a car slammed into a Southeast Portland business and drove on top of him.

The car’s driver was also wounded in the crash.

On Wednesday afternoon at Northwest Family Insurance Company on Southeast 136th Avenue near the Springwater Trail.

The owner’s wife told KATU News that her husband turned around to see the car come crashing through the front window.

He ended up underneath the car. The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.

The driver hasn’t been cited for the incident.
