Shelbyville,TN : Head-on crash leaves one dead on August, Friday 4th 2017

The driver of the car at right was killed in this crash on North Main Street at midday Friday. Lisa Renee Hicks, 57, of Rutherford County crossed the center line for unknown reasons and ran head-on into a truck driven by Maria Consuelo Rincon Munoz of Shelbyville, Lt. Mike Davis of the Shelbyville Police Department said. “Alcohol was involved” with an open container found in the Hicks vehicle, Davis said. Results of drug-alcohol tests are pending.
