A van crash near the 61 mile marker on Interstate 77 early Monday left several people with minor injuries.
The crash occurred about shortly before 7 a.m., according to a Facebook post made by Union Grove Fire & Rescue.
“Engine 1 responded and found all occupants made it out luckily with only minor injuries,” the post said.
One southbound lane of the interstate was closed for a short period of time, but it re-opened before noon, according to the post.
It wasn't clear how the crash occurred or how many people were involved. A message left with the Highway Patrol wasn't returned.
Harmony Fire Department, North Iredell Rescue and Iredell County EMS also responded.
