Bessemer, AL: One injured in crash along I-20/59 South near I-459 on Wednesday, August 5th 2015

A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 20/59 had traffic slowed Wednesday near the I-459 interchange.It happened in the southbound lane near mile marker 105. Bessemer Police and Fire responded to the accident, involving a passenger car and a semi-truck. The driver of the car suffered serious injuries, police said.Traffic on I-459 was backed up all the way to Highway 150 in Hoover. Crews were expecting to have the accident cleared by 5:30 p.m.
