A truck driver from Maine died Wednesday morning on the Ohio Turnpike north of West Unity when his tractor-trailer rig struck another.
Lt. Vern Fisher, commander of the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Swanton Post, reported that at 11:39 a.m. Richard B. Taylor, 57, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, was driving a gray 2016 Freightliner west on the Turnpike when he stopped along the right side of the roadway at mile marker 16.
