Hagerstown, MD : Motorcyclist injured in Pennsylvania Ave. crash on Monday afternoon, April 18, 2016
The Washington County Sheriff's Office has released the name of a Hagerstown man who was injured when his motorcycle collided with a car Monday afternoon in the 13300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue north of Hagerstown.
Stanley Paul Pavlosky, 60, was listed in serious condition Tuesday at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
The accident was reported shortly before 3 p.m., when the 2006 Honda motorcycle that Pavlosky was riding south on Pennsylvania Avenue collided with a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu that pulled onto the roadway from Volvo Way, Deputy 1st Class Carly Hose said in an email.
Hose said the driver of the Chevrolet, Donald Leroy Crum, 66, of Hagerstown was charged with failure to yield the right of way.
