ELOY, AZ : Several hurt in weather-related crash on I-10 south of Eloy on Friday, 2nd February 2024

Several people have been injured in a crash on Interstate 10 just south of Eloy in Pinal County late Friday morning.

The collision happened shortly before noon in the eastbound lanes of I-10 at milepost 217. The Arizona Department of Public Safety says troopers are on scene of the four-vehicle crash, and that multiple patients are being taken to hospitals. At least two of those victims are being flown out by medical helicopter.

DPS says the crash is under investigation and that heavy rain is believed to be a factor.

Eastbound lanes of I-10 were closed for over an hour but reopened around 1:30 p.m.
