Newark, NJ : 2 killed after vehicles crash near the intersection of Bergen Street and Madison Avenue, Newark on Friday, 25th January 2019

Two people were killed after a vehicle struck a parked SUV and then slammed into a house in Newark on Friday morning.

The crash happened just before 5:30 a.m. near the intersection of Bergen Street and Madison Avenue, Newark police said. At least one of the vehicles was stolen.

The vehicles struck the unoccupied SUV, two light poles and then the house. One of the cars overturned.

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene. Neither has been identified, officials said.
