A Somerset teenager and his grandfather died Tuesday in a head-on collision in Clearfield County, authorities say.

Jaden Rock, 16, of Somerset and James Wolf, 61, of Largo, Florida, died at scene of the crash on South Main Street, Westover, Clearfield County Coroner Mike Davis said.

Both were ejected from the 1969 Corvette, which was being driven by Wolf, Davis said.

Rock had just completed his sophomore year at Rockwood Area High School in Somerset County, and he was a member of the varsity wrestling team at Berlin Brothersvalley High School as part of a co-op program.

"Jaden had a great family support structure from his parents," said Jason Cornell, who was Rock's wrestling coach at Berlin Brothersvalley. "He was very respectable, liked to have fun and a great friend to his teammates.

"The Berlin wrestling community will greatly miss Jaden's smile and personality."
