Grand Ledge, MI : Two children seriously hurt in Grand Ledge crash on Wednesday evening, October 26, 2016
Two young children were seriously injured when they were hit by a vehicle while crossing a street in Grand Ledge on Wednesday evening.
The incident happened about 6:20 p.m. near the intersection of North Bridge and Main streets, Grand Ledge police said in a news release.
The children, ages 11 and 8, both of Lansing, were hit by a vehicle heading south on Bridge Street, according to police. Both were taken to Sparrow Hospital with serious injuries.
Police said the driver was not injured and was not at fault.
Grand Ledge police officials were unavailable for comment on Thursday, and no other details about the crash were available.
