Racine, WI : Three people injured in a two-vehicle collision on Douglas Avenue Wednesday afternoon, July 27, 2016

Emergency personnel responded Wednesday afternoon to a report of a two-vehicle collision in the 6800 block of Douglas Avenue, according to the Caledonia Fire Department.

The call came in at about 12:40 p.m. A silver van traveling north reportedly crossed the center line and collided with a blue SUV traveling south.

There were two people in the SUV and one in the van. All three were reportedly injured.

One person was reported to be lying on the ground, and Flight For Life was called. The helicopter was later called off. Emergency personnel said there were no reports of fatalities.

Police on the scene said they were investigating to determine if alcohol or drugs played a factor in the collision.
