Kickapoo, LA : Keatchie man killed in DeSoto Parish crash on Highway 171 Sunday afternoon, November 9, 2014

State police say a 55-year-old Keatchie man died in a two vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 171 north of Kickapoo in DeSoto Parish. Trooper Matt Harris says a truck driven by 72-year-old John Willis of Shreveport was traveling south on Highway 171 Sunday afternoon when a car driven by 55-year-old Leonard Horton swerved into his lane and caused the two vehicles to collide. After the crash, Harris says Horton was taken to a Shreveport hospital where he died. The crash remains under investigation.
