Kenosha, WI : 7 high school students injured after a crash involving a bus in Kenosha on Thursday morning, March 19, 2015

Seven high school students were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a crash involving a bus in Kenosha on Thursday morning, according to police spokesman.

A city transit bus taking students to Indian Trail High School was traveling south on Pershing Blvd. at 7:17 a.m. when it crossed 52nd St. and was hit by a pickup truck that ran a red light, Lt. Brad Hetlet said.

One passenger in the pickup truck was injured and taken to the hospital, he said.

All injuries appeared to be minor, he added.

The 48-year-old man who was driving the truck was cited for running the red light, Hetlet said.
