Lowell, AR : One dead after car collides with Waste Management truck on Interstate 49 Thursday morning, June 16, 2016

Arkansas State Police responded to a deadly accident Thursday morning on Interstate 49 north of the Lowell Exit.

State Police said the driver of a car died after a head-on collision with a Waste Management truck.

According to a state trooper at the scene, the car and dump truck were heading north on I-49. The car in the right lane crossed over into the left lane and into the path of the truck.

Both vehicles crashed and spun out.

Police have not released the name of the victim, the driver of the car, or the driver of the Waste Management truck.
