Key West, FL : Motorcyclist injured after a serious crash on Boca Chica Road on Sunday, April 17, 2016

A serious crash on Boca Chica Road Sunday sent a motorcyclist to a Miami hospital, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Phillip R. Zielinski, 37, of Key West, was riding a 1993 Honda motorcycle at 10:23 p.m. westbound on Boca Chica Road when he approached a curve and lost control, according to the FHP.

The FHP did not specify if the crash.
