AMHERST, NY : Amherst man injured in ATV crash on Sunday, 27th September, 2020

An Amherst man suffered a serious head injury following an ATV crash Sunday evening.

According to Amherst Police, the 50-year-old man was driving on the roadway near Trellis Lane and Violet Avenue when he was thrown from the vehicle. At this point, the man's name is not being released.

Investigators say they will be canvassing for video and witnesses and are asking local residents,businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash-camera footage of the area or incident, to call the Amherst Police Department at 689-1311
